During the pandemic, I am only offering long distance Energy Healing sessions.
I will resume hands-on work once I am confident that it is safe for both of us.

ease, release, relax
The Trager® Approach is a hands-on approach to release holding patterns in our tissue that cause restriction, discomfort and pain. Holding patterns are caused by past events from injuries, trauma, posture, repetition, beliefs, and repressed emotions. The Trager Approach uses gentle, rhythmic and natural rocking movements to explore where there is movement, however limited it may be. The exploration starts with movement that is available and authentic in the moment, and expands to what is possible. There is no manipulation, no force, and no fixing. Rather, the approach is suggestive, and supportive. Shifting the patterns from the past, to a new way of being.
Mentastics® are self-care movements that reinforce the effects of the session by integrating the principles of the Trager Approach to Movement into your daily life.
The primary principle in Trager is to find movement that resonates with the felt experience of ease, pleasure and freedom. This experience creates a shift in the nervous system, in the unconscious mind, where the holding patterns reside. Holding patterns release. The client responds with profound relaxation, peace, lightness, spaciousness, increased range of motion, mental clarity, and self-awareness.
Clients seek Trager for a wide range of issues from stress relief to chronic or disease induced mobility issues, as well as to enhance athletic and artistic performance.
I have treated many physical mobility issues such as stiff neck, frozen shoulder, headaches, tight back, stress related tightness and injuries, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, trauma, and non-acute injuries. I have also used Trager with clients dealing with a feeling of malaise, disconnection, anxiety or depression desiring relief and improvement in their overall well-being.

Since I credit massage a contribution to my longevity, I now believe I have never experienced total bodywork to the degree I do now receiving Trager with Gail Edgerly; it is different from massage; and it is complete body care. AR
